Inhaltszusammenfassung:

Im Rahmen der Magisterarbeit wurde an einer Zufallsstichprobe mittels odontologischer Analyse die Gesundheits-und Ernährungssituation der bandkeramischen Bevölkerung von Herxheim/Pfalz untersucht, die möglichst auch zur Klärung der Gesamtbefundsituation beitragen sollte, indem zwischen den einzelnen Bereichen innerhalb des Erdwerks differenziert wurde. Gegenstand dieses Beitrages ist es, die bisherigen, vorläufigen Ergebnisse aufzuzeigen und zu diskutieren.

Abstract:

The aim of the magister thesis was to investigate health and food condition of a random population sample of a bandceramic site at Herxheim/Pfalz using odontological analysis which should possibly help to explain the whole finding situation by differentiating between the single areas within the earthwork. The purpose of this paper is to present and discuss previous and preliminary results of this investigation.
