Abstract:
Primary objective is to theoretically open-up and to practically make-accessible something that in China at the time of Lao-Dse about 2600 years ago was indicated by the Chinese character combination "Wu-Wei": What does the Asian phenomenon behind these characters mean, which we know particularly from Taoism and from Buddhism, and which could be translated for instance as „action without action“ or also as „non-acting action“? To what exactly does the reality of such a „political principle“ refer, and what would that consequently mean then for our common western mode of being? Which role plays it secondarily, moreover, also for such areas of life and fields of work like psychology, psychotherapy and psychoanalysis? How can it be understood in general as a „therapeutic concept“ which could be used in supporting-curative humane ways – concerning one's own existence as well as mutual caring cooperation?
