Abstract:
In 2013, the two Baden-Wuerttemberg institutions for juvenile corrections in free forms, Kloster Creglingen-Frauental (run by the Christliches Jugenddorfwerk/Christian Youth Villages Ministry) and Seehaus/Leonberg (run by the Seehaus e.V. association), both celebrated their 10th anniversary. Marking the occasion, this commemorative publication contains 17 articles dealing with the organisational framework, the educational principles, the individual projects, and the evaluation of juvenile corrections in free forms. The academic essays and informative field reports paint a picture of a promising humane and effective juvenile corrections system, thus being of great interest to people in leading positions in criminal policy, criminology, correctional research, the practical areas of juvenile corrections, and youth welfare services.
