Organisatorische Sicherung sozialtherapeutischer Orientierung : das Dürener Modell

Abstract

Mit dem 2. Strafrechtsreformgesetz verabschiedete der Deutsche Bundestag Bestimmungen über die Errichtung sozialtherapeutischer Anstalten. Das Justizministerium des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen eröffnete am 1. September 1971 in Düren eine sozialtherapeutische Modellanstalt. Das Organisationskonzept der Anstalt zielt auf die Schaffung eines therapeutischen Milieus als Voraussetzung für jede Therapie. Hierauf gerichtete Maßnahmen sind: Leitung durch einen Therapeuten, Team-Integration, gemeinsame Entscheidungsbildung, Minderung der sozialen Distanz zwischen Stab und Insassen, Abbau der Haftdeprivationen.

The Second Law for the Reformation of Criminal Law passed by the West German parliament in summer 1969, provides for the installation of social therapeutic institutions. The Ministry of Law of the State of North-Rhine-Westphalia launched a social therapeutic model institution on 1.9.71. The organizational design of the institution aims at the development of a therapeutic milieu as pre-condition for any therapy. Measures securing this orientation are: therapeutic leadership, team integration, common decision making, diminution of the social distance between staff and inmates, reduction of prison deprivations.
