Wissenschaftsimmanente Probleme der Integration im Lichte Batesons "Ecology of Mind"

Abstract

Die wissenschaftsimmanenten Probleme der Integration von Rechts- und Sozialwissenschaften werden im Lichte von Batesons Ideen zu einer „Ecology of Mind“ erörtert. Das führt dazu zu fordern, die wechselseitige Idealisierung - zu glauben, was der andere über sich sagt - sowie die Verwicklung in wechselseitige double-bind-Situationen zu entwickeln, indem beobachtet wird, was der jeweils andere wirklich tut und die spezifischen Praxen (die diversen Forschungs- und Anwendungsbereiche) als Kontexte einer integrativen Diskussion genommen werden.

The paper discusses the relationship between laywers and social-scientists as a communication-problem attaching the ideas of Gregory Bateson. It is pointed out, that Sack's Statement of the „double-binds“ between laywers and social-scientists is right in both directions and even within the laywers themselves is true, but that on the other hand there is the possibility of undisturbed communication, if the specific practices are explained as a special context in each situation.
