Inhaltszusammenfassung:

Freies Hämin, welches unter Anderem beim Zerfall roter Blutkörperchen freigesetzt wird, ist als Aktivator der Thrombozyten bekannt. In der Studie werden Effekte von Hämin auf die differentielle Thrombozyten Granula Degranulation, insbesondere die Lysosomale Granula Degranulation untersucht. Analysiert wurden verschiedene Oberflächenmarker, unter Anderem CD63, als Marker der Lysosmen und der Delta Granula und CD62P als Marker der Alpha Granula. Interessanterweise konnte, durch die Verwendung von Inhibitorexperimenten mittels klassischer, durchflusszytometrischer Expressionsanalyse von CD63, sowie der Fluoreszenzmikroskopie gezeigt werden, dass die hämininduzierte Lysosomale Granula Degranulation von der Proproteinkonvertase Furin abhängig ist.
